A young child awakens Christmas morning to discover a Velveteen Rabbit among their gifts. Soon becoming the Child’s new favorite toy, the Rabbit’s appearance becomes worn and shabby from play, and a wonderful change begins to happen. This stage adaptation of the classic story by Margery Williams will tug at the heart strings, for as the Velveteen Rabbit learns, the hardest lessons in life come from the joy of friendship, the pain of loss and the wisdom of growing old.
